The Baum Opera House thrives through collaboration. By partnering with local organizations, we ensure that this historic venue remains a vibrant hub for education, culture, and civic engagement. Our partnerships help us extend our reach, amplify our mission, and serve the community in meaningful ways.
The Miamisburg Rotary Club is one of our most valued partners. This civic-minded group holds regular meetings and events at the Baum Opera House, supporting both their charitable initiatives and our mission to maintain a welcoming space for all.
“The Baum Opera House is more than a venue — it's part of our service mission.” — Justin Kohnen
We are proud to support and be supported by many Miamisburg organizations, such as:
Miamisburg Historical Society – Helping us preserve and promote our shared heritage.
Downtown Miamisburg Inc. – Collaborating on events that bring life to the historic district.
Local Schools & Arts Programs – Hosting student performances, concerts, and art showcases.
Veterans’ Organizations – Providing space for recognition ceremonies and benefit events.
Whether you’re a non-profit, civic group, school, or community advocate, we’d love to connect. Reach out to learn how the Baum Opera House can support your mission — and how you can be part of ours.
The Baum Opera House will be hosting paint and sip events once a month on Sunday afternoons. These events are open to the public and are suitable for all ages. All proceeds from these events will help the Baum cover the costs of paint nights for His Hope Teen Challenge and His Hope Miamisburg. His Hope is a local nonprofit organization that the Baum will partner with to provide art opportunities for individuals who may lack access to creative outlets.
Our goal is to host a painting event for young women in the foster care system. We are collaborating with His Hope, an organization comprised of women who have overcome addiction or who have lived with or lost someone affected by addiction. These women are joining forces with an all-girls foster group based in Dayton to offer support and hope for a brighter future for these teens.
The Baum aims to provide these women and girls with a creative outlet and a safe space where they can express themselves without fear of judgment. We will be hosting the girls in December for a holiday painting event, and I plan to give each young woman a special gift to make the occasion memorable for them.
